Internal Insulation is done on a room by room basis. The room has to be cleared out. If there is a carpet you would have to take the carpet out. It may involve moving radiators, sockets, shelves, etc. to make way for PIR Insulation Boards to be glued onto the wall using a specialized glue for insulation.

It is only the exterior walls and reveals of the windows and external doors that have to be insulated with the PIR Boards.

Interior Insulation:

  • is not weather reliant.

  • is cheaper than External Wall Insulation.

  • is easier and quicker to heat the room.

  • Therefore, eventually costing less on heating bills.

  • The room retains the heat for longer.
